  • @bent139 I definitely think that Brian has had Aspergers all his life, and is a classic case of this. But I also believe he is someone that those who have Aspergers can look up to and celebrate as one of their own.

  • @notfragile33 I was diagnosed w/ Aspergers Syndrome a few months ago. It is a blessing and a curse. We sort of live in a different world. I relate deeply to Brian's life and struggles and especially his music. And as with Smile if someone criticizes something we love we take the criticism very personally and may hide it away.

Aspergers might explain the endless hours Brian sat alone at the piano. "In My Room" has always been my favorite BW song. Very descriptive of this condition.

  • @thomtropez So many individuals diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder appear to have many autism spectrum traits. I think there is a cross over or perhaps a misdiagnosis., sometimes. Just a thought.

  • @TheDreamerzMusic Excellent explanation. Thank you!!

  • Someone please let me in on what the photo at 1:37 is from. I have never seen a concert photo with them wearing those clothes!! Looks almost like they are in Japan?!

  • Do it again vastly underrated in the Beach Boys pantheon, nice choice

  • @2degucitas he never had a stroke. he always talked towards the left side of his face because he was 95% deaf in his right ear so yea it kinda looks weird.

  • @notfragile33 he's suppoed to be manic-depressive with schizo-affective disorder

  • I wish i could see the entire documentary. Where can I find it?
