  • Such an underrated LP. It went really unnoticed upon release, probably because Elton wasn't touring or working with Bernie at the time. But it still remains one of my favorite albums to date, simply because it's Elton, and that this album has some of his most catchy and touching songs.

Almost makes me wish that Elton was still working with Osbourne. The two of them did a really great job with this album!

  • This whole album got me through alot of hard times in the late 80's

  • Nice track, this album seemed to pass me by somehow...

  • This really should be better known than it is! Great song!

I Have Been Through the Lies, That I've Seen In Your Eyes....

But, The TRUTH Still Shines On Through.... So (I) Shine On Through, the Days We Have To Fill... The Lights Go Down, On Cue....

I Have Wasted My Time...But It Tasted, Oh, SO FINE.... And My Love Still Shines....Shines On YOU :))

No radio play for Elton John from his album 'A 'Single Man'? In the UK?

I recall 'Song for Guy' being broadcast on regional and national radio.. I also recall Elton John performing same on live TV (and relating the sad, tragic story of the song) in 1978 with the single (which I'm sure it was) being released ahead of 'Single Man' itself, ( I could be wrong about that).Thinking about it, I recall 'Part Time Love' being played on the radio and TV too. Good luck with your music.

  • Not one song on this album got radio play. that gives hope to us young musicians. even elton didn't write gold all the time. also those are some feminine boots! LoL

  • Although not particularly showy or impressive, just a humble love song. From the wide reange of elton songs i have the pleasure of knowing of. THIS one has influenced me most, musically and emotionally. Thank you elt <3

  • A great song by Elton John! In fact, this entire LP is great!

Bravo, Reginald Kenneth Dwight! Thanks for making great music for more than forty years!
