He is like a News reporter, but with a funny twist. He brings the truth forward, he got his facts right, and makes me laugh so hard.

@CodenameWraith cuba is an authoritative state where all opposition is suppressed. their "democratic elections" are a joke.
as for lenin, the man was little different from stalin. he started implementing the same concentration camp system that stalin wasto use later. the annhialtion of the cossacs was mostly his doing. he is hardly a role model. and he was far from a purist when it came to communism.

@avalsonline2 Cuba has done pretty well for themselves though, they recently developed a lung cancer vaccine.
The transition to communism is technically supposed to take place on a global scale. Given that humans have been trying to kill each other off since the beginning of time, I don't consider it to be possible.
Lenin himself said "If socialism can only be realised when the intellectual development of every individual permits it, we shall not see socialism for at least 500 years."
-
@CodenameWraith so, in other words, no communism has never been practiced. gee, nearly 150 years after marx drew up the plan, and not one country can get it right. maybe its just not possible.
-
@avalsonline2 In a way yes; tribals such as those in America and Africa practiced a sort of tribal communism, but that's obviously not what Marx described.
What people refer to as "communist countries" are often either socialist or state capitalist.
The transition to communism is supposed to take place in two stages: revolution against a capitalist government and the establishment of a socialist state, followed by the withering away of the state and ushering in pure communism.
-
@CodenameWraith has communism ever been practiced?
-
@zarthered Keeping the working class at its lowest possible cost is a capitalist motive.
Communism is a classless, stateless, egalitarian society based on common ownership of production.
Communism is not being practiced in China, plain and simple.
What China practices is state capitalism. You're right about state-controlled industry, but to brand China's style of government as communism is just factually incorrect.
-
@CodenameWraith no its not. The Chinese are using free market methods for trade and communist oppression to keep the labor class at its lowest possible cost. instead of the money going to those who own the factories or the workers who make the products, it goes straight to the top rungs of government. its the best of both worlds for the despots. Capitalism's cut throat markets, with Communism's state controlled industry.
-
@AnonymousAscendent I have researched, I was being sarcastic when I asked. Communism means a classless, stateless society based on direct worker ownership of means of production, which doesn't exist in China.
so pay your taxes so we can get more shit... american morons..
