Nah, I loved the morning reruns in the 90's. Those were great to wake up to, although I'd start groaning when the intro started up for the 3rd or 4th time in a row, but it was still enjoyable.
The issue is that the show sucks now. And it actually seems like it's on a lot LESS to me...maybe because of all the redundant talking head-centric shows (PTI, Around the Horn, Rome Is Burning, First and 10, Mike & Mike...I'm guessing there are others, I don't watch the channel anymore).

@professorintellect You are absolutely NOT alone in thinking that.
-
Am I the only one that thinks that the SportsCenter schedule from back then was better than what we had now? We don't need SportsCenter from 6am-2pm, then again from 6pm-7pm, then more SportsCenter from Midnight-6am, am I alone in thinking that?

How far we've come in graphics!

Gayle Freaking Gardner!
-
She had a great rack.
-
Gardner jumped to NBC not long afterward and was there through the early 1990s, then apparently dropped out of the industry altogether.
-
What ever happened to Gayle Gardner. She was a very beautiful woman.

Preaching to the choir, bro. Good call.
Yes, this was a time when Sports Center was on twice a night--that's it. Nowadays, it's all you see 50% of the entire day. This was also a time when no sports broadcasting had sidebars and lowbars reminding you that scores of other games are more important than what you're actually watching. ESPN was good until 1991 then went completely downhill after that.
