Firehawk at King's Island

This is Firehawk at King's Island. It originally opperated at the now closed Geauga Lake Park in Aurora, OH as X-Flight. It opened there on 5/26/2001 when the property was owned by Six Flags. It was moved in the winter of 2006 and opened here on 5/26/2007. It's located in the X Base section of the park next to the Flight of Fear indoor roller coaster. It's a Flying Dutchman model 1018m from Vekoma and is one of many clones of the original across the US.

Great video, although Idc for Firhawk, this video makes me miss it so much. I love the sound it's anti roll back system makes, it and SOB's are the loudest ones I have ever heard. I also miss hearing the ride ops. saying "Red train your all clear and out of hear so hold on tight and enjoy your ride, on Firehawk!" Is it April 18th. yet?

I agree, SOB's anti roll backs are extremely loud. You can hear them towards the end of my Face/Off video and all throught my Top Gun video as well. Fire hawk was my first ride on a Flying coaster and it was a unique experience, especially flipping over at the top of the lift. Thanks for the comment :)

Yeah I noticed them in your Invertigo video towards the end! It made me miss SOB so much. I like Vekoma Flyers better than B&M Flyers, and the best element on Firehawk IMO is the loop, and then the first inversion after the lift! Very awesome video!
