Downtown Rosalie is at the beginning of her new career now that her days at the racetrack have ended. Alessandra Deerinck retrained her using her past experience with racehorses at the track and with the Carolyn Resnick Method. With her newly acquired communication skills, Downtown Rosalie will be able to achieve anything that a horse and a human being can do together in any equestrian pursuit.

  • This is so lovely, Alessandra. The ending was perfect. Now that I know both you and Rosalie, I think this video sums up your relationship with her. The nurturing and know-how combine to create a beautiful dance. --Ruella

  • Beautiful work !

  • Hi Alessandra,

I love this video of you and Rosalie....truly beautiful and inspiring! I love the music, and it is perfect with this video. I was hoping you could tell me the name of it, and the artist. I hope you continue to make many beautiful videos of you and your horses, and that I get to meet you some day.

  • Rosalie and I will be at Equine Affaire in Pomona, and together we will talk about how she went from being a race horse to being my best friend and working partner, come see us in February in California!

  • He has serious problems and pain in front legs knees.

  • This is lovely, at the beginning you can see the horse is unsure and a bit apprehensive, but then she seems to become more comfortable and confident of her handler, and in herself, and that's when she comes to enjoy the play :)

  • @SarahhSCENE It will probably take some time till your horse realizes that you are not like the jockey or keeper and won't abuse him. Try to overcome your fear and so will the horse. Good luck!

  • Omg! how did you train her to do those?

My ex race horse just tries to bite me and trample me. :( im a bit scared of him now.

you have a wonderfully trained horse.

  • you loking as Elena from zorro

  • Did you know that animal communicators are often told by ex-race horses that they were made into slaves? Glad to see another one set free from the chains of racing. Rosie is very happy:)
