what the hell does it matter whether this guy is gay, straight, asexual, a leopard, or a spider? Either way the lyrics of this song are excellent and he's got a great voice. One of my favorite songs of all time.

So what? The song is still great right? I mean yes does seem gay but what about the rest of the song, no comment on any of that, but quick to find some cultural fault. In fact, he probably has more respect as a character and person than a thousand straight people. Just respect someone for their merits not the one or two things they lack from the rest of the crowd. Then again this is why he is special and we the audience.
