Jezebel's new engine... first test drive with the dual valve springs in.

Just a short little test drive of the new combo... now that the Dual Valve Springs are in, I can use some rev's again !!!

Didn't get too carried away... public roads aren't race tracks after all, so max revs saw was about 5800 or so. Even so, am VERY happy with things... altho still needs some work on the tuning, it's already light years ahead of the old combo... and when it comes on cam around 4000rpm it's a serious case of "hang on". It will happily go out to 7000rpm and possibly a bit beyond, so plenty of scope for fun with the right foot when on the track.

Oh - and excuse the camera angle... have been playing around with position after a comment about my rooftop mount from one of the scrutineers... obviously some more playing around to do still.

It's a HUGE amount of fun... the ratios suit perfectly... awesome when things come out how they were planned hey !!!

In the cab it's quieter than the old combo... youtube munged the sound quality a bit so can't really hear, but the sound of the straight cuts kind of blends in with the box noise and becomes pretty smooth really. Wouldn't want to drive to Sydney in it without ear plugs, but fine for what I do I think.
