@firmware1000 There was a third option in there... We're not all called to go. Missionaries on the field need people who are willing to support them prayerfully, financially and in a myriad of other ways. If we all went as you seem to think John Piper is advocating, nobody would be here to be "Senders" (the third option). We can be the pit crew for those who are on the field without being disobedient to God.

The desire to know God is a seed planted in every heart. Sinful man often rejects seeking God, but He has promised that whoever seeks Him will find Him. More important than debating what happens to those who have not heard God's word, we should tirelessly work to make the Gospel know to everyone.

Then whose fault is it that a tribe on an undiscovered island does not hear Christ? They go to hell because the failure of men? God created them knowing they would go to hell? Thats not a loving God that is a evil god. Does Paul not say in Romans that those who do not have the law of Christ will be judged by what is right and what is wrong as well? Does Christ not say he has sheep not of this fold? A man had a NDE and Jesus told him that everyone already has Him, but they do not have him fully

The people in third world nations are more saved than "christians nations". Its christians that go to hell more than pagans because poor pagans at least live one another. Im saying this as a christian who wants christians to stop giving Christ lip service and stop fighting wars and start loving their enemy and giving to the poor

@firmware1000 First, I would like to point out that these are simply excerpts from several messages, so by watching this video alone, it's not possible to get any sense of the context that he's speaking in. Second, I agree with you wholeheartedly in your statement that we need to be just as willing and ready to share the gospel with the person next to us as the person in another culture. I don't, however, see how this video is in opposition to that.
