The final battle begins! This guy is even a bit harder than culex... Here's the deal, Smithy has two parts:
Head, and Body.

Body has 1000 HP, and will revive every few turns after being defeated. The body has a few attacks:
Hammer - a normal blockable attack.
Bullet Hand - Another normal attack, but a bit more difficult to block (in my opinion).
It also seems the body sacrafices its turn to transform the head if its still alive (if its dead it seems it can do it regardless of its status).

As for the head, it has 5 forms in total, and has 8000 HP.
1) Smithy's Head -
Does absolutely nothing, but very rare to see. It's not even seen in this video.

2) Tank Head - The most common form, from my understanding.
He has 2 attacks:
Bullet Bill - an unblockable(?) attack that will deal around 35 damage even to a Lazy Shell/Bracere'd character. Insta-kill everything else.
Magnum - Useless move that only kills characters without Saftey Bits or Lazy Shells.

3) Sorcerer Head - The most dangerous of the group because of its damage output.
Has many magic based moves:
Sword Rain - ~26 damage
Arrow Rain - Nothing to worry about, does about 6-8 damage
Spear Rain - ~16 damage
Boulder - 1 damage to Bowser, kills everyone else.
Dark Star - 66 damage to Bowser, yeouch!
Meteor Swarm - 44-ish damage. Another painful move.

4) Panda Head - This head is actually one of the more annoying of them all. If it uses Shredder, Bowser looses the effects of his Qwartz Charm (Bracer/Energizer) and, at the very least, the bracer effect MUST be replaced, although I found Yoshi-ades more effective.
Also, this head can use Recover and Mega Recover, both of which will extend the fight.

5) Treaure chest head - Useless head, this is your time to do whatever you want.

Strategy: To open up with some numbers, you must use 27 Rock Candies (with an energizer), or 54 Star Eggs. Or, 40 Rock Candies without an energizer, or 80 star eggs.

That makes for a long, long fight.

Bowser needs Qwartz Charm/Lazy Shell to survive Smithy's onslaught. The Tank head is fairly straight forward to deal with, it won't deal enough damage to kill you in two rounds, so it gives you a chance to restore health and still attack.
The sorcerer head is not quite as simple, and will end you quickly if you dont have full health. Also, all of its attacks are multi-target besides Dark Star, so keeping Peach up is nigh-impossible here, unless you're good at timing Red Essences.
The worst part of this fight is the Panda-Tank thing, which uses Shredder. The only way to reapply the effects of Qwartz Charm is by either
A) Killing Bowser and reviving him.
or
B) Using a bracer, energizer or Yoshi-ade.
or potentially
C) Having Red Essence up when it uses Shredder, which nullifies the attack completely.
Finally, the treasure chest box is your time to attack.
And don't bother striking the body, its damage is negligent.

Towards the end, using Red Essences can make this fight a lot easier, especially if you're not the greatest at timing like me...

  • Dude! WTF! What level are you, like level 7?! You gotta train!

  • @VoltJolt112 - Lol, Mario is level 3, and Bowser and Peach are, hrm, 8 and 9? If I remember correctly. But it's a Low Level Game, I purposely kept them as underleveled as humanly possible to have a more challenging game. They're not supposed to be leveled, and I'm not supposed to have trained. :)

  • @VoltJolt112 Nope. I like games that you can play after beating it. Such as Super Paper Mario or Super Scribblenauts.

  • @ChaosChronicle Oh okay, that's what I thought. Thanks. I still haven't figured out how to block attacks... I beat Smithy, but then I realized it was one of those games that has that eternal ending screen. Great game, really. Is there a way out of the "The End" screen?
