Hello everyone! On this channel, I'm going to be making 20 minecraft tutorials. Minecraft Beta 1.7 was released yesterday and it had normal and sticky pistons. You can use those to make useful things like bridges. In my first minecraft tutorial, I show you how to make a drawbridge using sticky pistons.

Step 1. Make a hole which is 2 blocks wide and 3 blocks deep. The length doesn't matter.

Step 2. Get out and fill the bottom with lava or anything else like water, or make a big pit.

Step 3. Remove the dirt next to the pit like I do in the video. Make it 2 blocks wide.

Step 4. Make a row of sticky pistons. They should be 2 blocks away, and facing the pit.

Step 5. Put another row of any type of block (No sand or gravel ofcourse) between the pistons and the pit.

Step 6. Put a lever somewhere, and create a redstone track coming from the lever, touching all the pistons.

Congratulations, you now have a working bridge!

Step 7. It looks better if you hide the redstone track and the pistons underground, or behind a wall.

If you follow these steps, you are able to make an awesome drawbridge! If you hide the lever, only you know how to cross it!

Thanks for watching this video. If you have any suggestions for next tutorials, tell me, so I can make a tutorial about it. (:

  • @johnny1518 That has literally nothing to do with my video. How was i supposed to know what you meant reading your first comment?

Anyway, I don't know but can't you just leave that redstone piece there?
