this song was going through my head when an IED went off right under the humvee i was in when i fell out i saw one of my friends ran from the reckage and he was on fire and i had to tell his wife and his parents what happened i nearly lost my foot im in the hospital right now with shraplen all in my leg ive spent the last three days looking at these vids and wondering how im going to tell his loved ones.....so please if you have an idea please tell me......

All I can say is that you don't have to go into detail of happend to him (unless they ask and if you and they are ready) What you can do, is share how you got to know him, how you both became friends in the craziness of war.

I say , go to therepy and talk about what happend as much as you need too. Talk to your friends parents about him NOT what happend. Not just yet

When I get older, I'll probably be in the military. I dont really know why, but it feels like it sort of calls me. Im a girl and people are lookin at me like im crazy when they ask me what I want to do. Like they doesnt think that I could do it, cause I'm a girl. But I can. I know I can.

I went in, I had the same reaction but I insisted. Even Recruiters didnt take me serious! But they did and I joined USMC!

I think my favorite parts of this video are of the soldier petting the kitten, the soldier handing the folded flag to the boy, and the angel wings that are behind the planes. I love America!! Again God Bless our Troops!!

saintEbba if u want to serve in the military when u get older i say go for it. do what u feel is right and dont let anyone hold u back follow ur heart. i did and now im a SGT in the USMC and i dont regret my decision for one second. im honored to wear my uniform and call yself a Marine...
