I have to say, I haven't checked in in a while, but DAMN girl!!! You keep getting better! Yeah! That's what practice will do! :D And I agree, if you don't end up a star (on stage or at online) there is something wrong w/ the world!!! You ALL READY are a star, you carry yourself like one! :D So way to go girl!!! Keep it up! :D

@tvviewer46 Just like all industries(at least entertainment), if you don't fit some special mold (and God only knows what that is) its almost impossible to get a role.I haven't got a role since college, and been sick of getting rejected, lol. But I decided I'd rather sing in a metal band for now anyway, so I'm going that route. Best of both worlds, get to run around like a lunatic and sing theatrically! Hell yeah! Anyway, if the theater industry knows what's good for them, they'll hire her!

I agree with u ms. Broadway dork it's just acting. I'm sure if u asked the person who commented rudely if they were offered to sing this song in a broadway musical that was famous in ny they would do it too. Your amazing but u already know that ; ) .I pretend to be ppl to by the way and I'm super good at it ; )

Every time you hit those amazing high notes, Alex, it's just thrilling to behold. You're definitely a Broadway professional, but apparently the industry hasn't received the memo yet.

I hate women lowering themselves to this level
but love all of your other stuff.

@skbnvacaville Hmm why do you say lowering themselves? The character is sexually attracted to the character she's singing about and talking about all the things she'd like to do to him. I don't think it's lowering oneself to want to please a partner. I assume that there are many things the character she's singing to would like to do to her right back. Or do you mean me? Eh, I love playing all sorts of different people. I actually found doing this kind of empowering.

Hey, I sent you a message a couple of days ago, but maybe you didn't get it.
I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I'm auditioning for Ms. Potts (or Madame de la Grande Bouche) for my school musical, my range is from the eflat below middle c to a high bflat or so.
Do you know any songs that would be good? I was thinking "Wouldn't it be Loverly" or "Mother Knows Best" (Tangled). The song has to be in the same style as Beauty and the Beast (I'm worried My Fair Lady may not be right)

@jomusiccal Hey. I almost never check my messages. Hmm. Something makes me want to suggest "Age of Not Believing" from Bedknobs and Broomsticks if you know it. Both were of course sung by Angela Lansbury and both have kind of a motherly, kind, parental vibe. But honestly it's always best to go with whatever you're most comfortable with. Between the two you suggested I'd go with Wouldn't it be Loverly.
