In this video, I give beginner tips for using shrinky dinks as embellishments for your card making/ paper crafting. I focused on using stamping with the shrinky dinks paper. You can find more information at www.shrinkydinks.com and my blog post: http://scrapbookbakery.blogspot.com/2010/03/shrinky-dinks-101.html

  • Why does the stazon smear when I use markers with it? I don't like paint markers, as they are gaudy

  • Why does the stazon smear when I use markers with it?

  • I love your very informative video. I have wanted to try stamping images & possibly layering some, any suggestions for attaching layers (not a brad), if you have done this? Also, If I am using the 2nd type of plastic where I stamp & use paint pens on the same side, how long would you wait for the stamped image to dry before painting? Can the moisture from the paint pens cause the stamped image to smear? Thanks

  • I have the shrinky dink oven....I'm going to have to bring that out again...love all your ideas, thanks for this great tutorial. It made me want to play with my shrinky dinks again.... : )

  • Hi, is this just like shrink plastic. I just think useing the heat tool to shrink it is easier. Same effect. Thanks for showing us this I have never heard of this stuff before. Love the rough and ready one.

  • Great tutorial! I have several packages of Shrinky Dinks but I have yet to use them. Thanks for all the cool ideas.
