EVE Online Madness: Hunting for an Ore Thief

This was the first PvP experience that I've ever had, so don't give me crap for not using any warp scramblers/disruptors. My job was to blow him up, not scramble him. T.T

A lot of wacky shenanigans went down in EVE today.
I was just minding my own business mining a bit with my friend, Helios, when an ore thief shows up.

Now, this is no regular ore thief. He was only three days old. If it were any other guy, I would have let them be.
But, due to the unique case of this thief, Helios and I couldn't let it go. Thus, forty minutes that could have went to mining went to a wild goose chase around Waira.

Sure, I may have lost a 23 million ISK investment. But hey, that just makes me look like a badass. The fact that it looks like I can just throw away such an expensive investment over a nooby ore thief. (Even though I really, really couldn't.)

Now to raise my security status.

It's at -1.64 now. Lol. I was JUST under the threshold of getting booted out of 0.9. And if I did, I would have raged endlessly. All my stuff is in a 0.9 system.

It really works. Can flippers can be confused: Continuously jettisoning 1 unit of Velspar to leave behind garbage cans (dang appropriate name) , while mining for your own full shipboard load of any ore, has proven to be a nice payback for can flipper rats as evidenced by the grape vine and personal observation and chat channels.
