For beginners of the Ojibwe Language, this video will help you learn to count to ten. It is written using the Fiero system which has become the standard for teaching in the language.
I have made and produced Ojibwe Language DVD's which are now available for purchase please email for additional information if you wish to obtain one.
I hope this helps anyone wanting to learn Anshinaabemowin.

I am so glad to discover -Ojibway language lessons on youtube. I speak the language -but don't have the opportuntiy to speak as often as I would like. I' ve been teaching my daughter and she is also pleased to find a sight that teachers Oijbway...The dialect is somewhat different but concept is there...and the lesson is an excellent refresher for me...."Ch-Miigwetch." I need to learn more!

Im white, my son is a 6-2 and my husband is a 6-1 Ojibwe. My husband only knows bits and peices and most of it is slang. My son has the option to learn Ojibwe starting in grade 1 in his school..then in grade 4 I can decide wether I want to switch him to french or continue Aboriginal learning...my minds already made up. He already experiences enough of my culture which is Finn?Swede..he needs to learn his dads culture too.
