  • What a weird show.

It's a movie rather than a documentary. All the comments are carefully designed, make you feel like North Korea is such an inspiring, peaceful country. People are living a good life, they have dreams, ambitions.

It is sad to see a documentary like this which is almost completely telling the opposite of the truth, of course, the Chinese government is controlling the content of the doc, so they can only say nice things about it, everything is good.

  • @chencherry961 Have you been to North Korea? People outside the Asian sphere are always subjected to western propaganda. Unless you have have been there only then will you know the truth.

  • @chencherry961. No, I have not been to N Korea although I have visited the South many times. I am not a Pyongyang sympathiser but I think North Korea has every right to live in the world as every other country. They should not be subjected to humiliation or be ostracised by western propaganda. It has its own ideology which differs from the west but that doesn't make it an outcast more than others.

  • Phoenix Satellite TV is from Hong Kong, not Chinese Central Television

  • @phoenixrff. Mistake noted. Thank you.

  • Thank you for your feedback. I have since corrected it :-)

  • I don’t know why do westerners shed their crocodile tears about democracy? they are fundamentally not democratic when they want to have their way with everyone else with guns rather than consent. If someone disagrees with their capitalist ways they become the target of sanctions, blockade which may result in short supply of basic necessities of life and so on. capitalism doesn't mean democracy and people have the right to be free of western imperialism.

  • @nelsonsim

although it's from hk, but almost all the advertisements you can see on this channel are sponsored by mainland companies,, all tv reporters... tv shows are in mandarine..(which is not hong kong's language) and sometimes their perspective is biased towards the communist... (while other hong kong news report are quite objective I'd say) the company is located in Hongkong, but it is not legally recognised as a hk tv channel.

  • @MrZman1144 damn right!

  • english subtitles wouldve been great help here.....

  • Any idea what the opening soundtrack of the documentary is?

  • this show=lie, dont trust

  • @chencherry961 It makes a difference , Usually the American propaganda show us the other side ! ... Its hard to know which is true ! Personally i think American propaganda is the worst. North Koreans for the most part seem happy and want peace. You could show films of homeless people and drunks in America and say the same thing that people say about North Korea !
