http://www.homesforourtroops.org/noss - Army SSG Scot Noss was injured on February 18, 2007 when the Chinook helicopter he was riding in crashed in the mountains of Southern Afghanistan. Eight of the twenty-two service members did not survive the crash. Scot was the most severely injured, suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury. After being stabilized in Germany, Scot was transferred to Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland and later to the James A. Haley Medical Center in Tampa, FL where he remains at this time.
Scot enjoyed sports including running and football, which was his favorite sport for both watching and playing. He was also an avid reader.
Scot's wife RyAnne is looking forward to stability in the couple's future as a specially adapted home provides Scot with a better quality of life.
Was the chopper shot down?

I AM SHOCKED THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT BUILD HOMES
FOR SERVICE CONNECTED VETERANS.
IS IT CHARITIES WHO BUILD THE HOMES FOR DISABLED
VETS TO STAY OUT OF NURSING HOMES?

Second of all, looking back at my comment I see I forgot to type in a name. :(

I was at the Hospital in Kandahar when Scot arrived on 18 feb 2007. We treated him and 13 other soldiers.. I am so HAPPY to see that he is being cared for by such a loving wife and that this home is being built for him. God Bless
