that's because music wasn't INTENTIONALLY made to become boring quickly to keep you buying records back then, like the argument i had with a room mate who ragged on the beatles for "being old". when i asked him if he'd still be listening to or remember any of that atonall all sounds the same seattle crap that he liked because it was popular at the time, he said "no"
"well guess what... the beatles will STILL be selling records!"
good music is TIMELESS!

This is the 1927 recording, not his first 1923 recording. Hawaiian Boogie, associated with Elmore James, is the same song.

God: This sounds remarkable similar to "Steel Guitar Rag" supposedly by Merle Travis and Leon McAuliff (Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys) Am I the only one to catch the similarities ?
