As the World Turns Farewell Tribute Part 1: The Weddings

As the World Turns will air its final episode in September 2010 after 54 years on the air. In this video, the first of a multi-part tribute to the show, we take a look back at some of the most memorable weddings that occurred in Oakdale. The happy couples in order of appearance are as follows:

FebWriter ~ That has got to be one of the most perfect wedding songs ever. I think you picked great couples to highlight. I wish they'd let us know what happened to Sam and Kirk before it ends, but they probably won't. They could start dropping hints of stuff happening off camera to tie up loose ends, if they can't bring the actors back. Great video! Thanks.

Thank you, Robansuefarm. That's why I chose the song: to showcase the weddings. ITA, Sam and Kirk were one of my favorite pairs too, and I hate to think that James did away with them. They did just disappear, as I recall; maybe they've been in the Witness Protection Program all this time. Oh, Lucinda would have some pithy remarks about that, wouldn't she? (Also on my impossible dreams list: John comes back for Lucinda.) I'm glad you liked this one. :-)
