This documentary begins in a stand up comedy class at the Hollywood Improv back in 1997 when Budd Friedman still owned it and Don Byner was manager, taught by Mike Parnon. It continues into Geno Kalmes's ups and downs on stage. Featuring the early days of Frank Caliendo and Hal Sparks. Visit my blog http://openmindedjuror.blogspot.com/

  • interesting point...facing fears takes some courage especially getting up again after bombing, Public speaking is said to be peoples number one fear. I consider myself a film maker first and an actor playing the part of a comedian. I don't have the courage to face that fear regularly and admire those who do. Since I make films with no budget I try and find subjects I can play using sets locations and people who exist. Check out my Civil War Western. I appreciate your time.

  • Hi Amy...thanks...

  • Dance MONKEY dance! Dance for my dollar. Comedy is hard. True. But comedians are not heroes. Bravery and heroism is never found on a stage. If you don't agree then you are asleep. Asleep in your mind.

  • The mic is a terrorist! Nice job...why'd the chicken cross the road? To go see his friend Gregory, peck...nice

  • I love this Gene! Comics have to see this
