I finally figured out the problem! See how the table was set when he got back? He had already put his milk on the table before he left. It was obviously full then, which is why he didn't buy more. Why was it empty when he got back? IT WAS THOSE DAMN KIDS!! They couldn't stop him getting Trix so they snaked his milk supply! Little bastids.
