@TheBaskinlover either way, should we really respect something that tells us that we're going to be tortured for an eternity? It's just insulting to ask that we respect something as depraved as that. Especially when it's not based in reality.
-
@TheBaskinlover frankly any belief based on an emotional appeal, testimony or anecdotal evidence doesn't deserve any respect. This isn't to say that individuals who practice a belief in the supernatural can't be respected though.

Ahhhh...sniff sniff....poor religious soul...

@leslietrav - I believe that American politics and society has needed a great deal of reform. We've gotten away from the literal interpretation - both implicitly and explicitly - the literal language of the Constitution and Bill of Rights! In spite of this, while I believe that we have regressed, we have progressed in other ways. As imperfect as America may be, there aren't too many places around the world where I'd want to live.

bismillah
meant to press reply and hit thumbs up
the point i believe is that islam, when studied and understood as any human should do with an idea or belief ( study and understand it ). theres no excuse to leave due to the perfection of the religion. I was told that there are procedures that one must take to bring back the soul that has chosen to leave. and after, its not instant death. one could easily leave the area, and b4 their choice they kno the consequences.
im no scholar
This man has had true American experiences of horror. Alcoholism, the Viet Nam war, the downfall of American values, causing him to question everything........May Allah protect him in the way of Islam.

If his family treated the mother like Islam ordered, he and his brothers would have a great life.
