read the books though they good,master cheif is human but the scientists gave them special drugs that gave them inhuman strenegth,intellegence,reflex control(or whatever),and etc.

In the books, all the litte Spartans were quite young and the best of friends. So I think this is just Master Chief, the big kid, talking to one of his younger teamates.

i think you're right. I think the image of the small kid is just a flashback of the master chief while he was laying down hurt. It's kinda funny though. He asks if he will ever meet them, and now he's actually fighting them.

Well, the chief was abducted when he was six years old, so it's not that far of a stretch to believe that was him.
