  • The groom was an idiot. Could have caused more damage the way he dealt with it. The ponies would have stop eventually, he scared them even more than they were already.

  • Does it really matter! That groom is brave, stopped possible serious injury to horses, no one died get over it! Fact is, what ever happened, happened, argue as much as you want but your point is invalid..

  • The groom totally did the right thing! if the ponies kept running, the cart may have tipped again, they could have gotten caught in the reins and panicked even more, which could lead to injury and make them relate bad experiences to driving.

  • that stupid man that grabbed themand got dragged!!!! SO DANGEROUS!!

  • yeah wooooo! Those ponies were right in running away - probably sick of stupid ppl regging them arownd!!

  • @Byrd968 unless they injure themselves and humans end it for them. If people are around when a horse finally stops running colic can easily be prevented by walking the horse, heck the horse most likely didn't stop suddenly, they'll have slowed down gradually and cooled off. The BLM does a lot of fucked up shit that they preach against and in those instances yes the horses do come to sudden stops causing the colic and later death. Cooling off a horse is all that's needed to prevent colic

  • @Samhwain you are right, horses run till the threat is over, but sometime when ran to hard, and they stop they will colic, or they will have a cardiac issue. This happens at BLM roundups, and is common in the show and race circuit. The use of Lasics (spelling?) is used in horse racing for this. This could be defined as the slang term "run themselves to death"

  • @Byrd968 no, they do not. Horses do NOT run until they're dead. They have to be pushed and pushed and pushed to run until they collapse and even then the don't run till their dead. At some point a horse WILL stop and fight what is scaring them. It takes a while with some horses but they do eventually stop.

  • @JagMan6201 thay have a time limit how do you know the ponies would have stoped they have a time limit

  • i luv how the groom jumps in front and gets dragged by the poiniespoor guys with the injuries though:(
