Shortwave radio has been home to so called numbers stations for many years.
Today when I was waiting for a international broadcaster to come on frequency
I got two surprises! E11 and E25. All very weird, all very 'conspiracy'
Here are the web sites mentioned in the video:

  • @NOnCRANe Hey, how do you mean Italian? all in English.

  • these are all curiosities, because sometimes you wonder what they are doing and why on there

    is there any signal that comes in steady?

  • @MichaelHansenFUN Some can be very strong! others very weak just recently one of the biggest stations vanished! that was E10

  • Nice video! Thanks for sharing!

  • :-/

  • YOU SAY "Nobody knows who it's aimed at" obviously this can't be true because why send a signal if there's nobody to listen to it. Would you get in your car and DRIVE TO NOWHERE?

  • Its mix of both Arabic and English.

    Tlat = 3

    Eser = 10

    The accent is average Egyptian. I can translate the number sequence if you really want me to...

  • @mikesndbs What reciver would be best for number station reciving?

  • I know its an old, but what if the numbers were aimed at the splinter groups for starting the uprise in Egypt? every number is like a word.

  • @mikesndbs dosent sound like it, the number 2 sounds like "dos" (from latin language) and 0 souds like "sero" (like in italy)

    the location i was mencioning might just be a coordenate, just sayin

  • @TheMW2informer No. Thats the whole idea. Nobody would listen. its a oneway communication. Besides. The transmitter is using somthing like 500KW transmitting power. A ham radio would at best go up to somthing like 50W or so. Its a computerized voice and your transmission would never be recived by the numbers station. Dont bother trying to track them down. Its very hard to trace and youd just end up outside a facility with military or an embassy.

  • I'm a shortwave DXer and have heard these number stations before. The ones I heard were in Spanish. Probably were related to the drug cartels or spying activities in the Americas.
