  • Does psyllium husk have a strict use by date? I have some still unopened that has a use by date of 5.30.2011, will it still be good to go in a month or so?

  • @leisurelydinner That should still be good.

  • good info!

  • Thanks for the tips on how to use it.

  • I trust the use if psyllium husk after ge did the thumb point at the end.

  • it tastes amazing with sugar, water and coconut cream.

  • Saw dust works better

  • i prefer to grind up the seed.

  • @thatoneguyonline I once asked about this at a natural product store. They thought I was joking,

  • @kgp4death Many people use clay. I've never have, but may look into it someday.

  • @Blackgeoff1 Yep!

  • Thanks for the bottle tip. I used to put the psyllium in a cup, and the pour the water. Then I had to mix that up with a spoon. The bottle makes it much easier.

  • @hootyhaha they have different grades of bentinite clay. there is one clean enough to eat.

  • @kgp4death You ingest benotnite clay? that's a facial clenser you put on your face :) That might not be safe.

  • @kgp4death quite right; the whole husk is where it's at. The stuff that's ground up and put into commercial packaging usually got sugar, or much worse, aspartame, and other crap thrown in. I'll have to find out more about this benotnite clay ... sounds interesting

  • Like sawdust... Real ugly... But its good for you... :-).

  • @kgp4death Thanks for the info!

  • @tasmanianvegan LOL, no problem!

  • I like the whole husk it works better, you have to use more but it works way better. Also i use benotnite clay in the water mixed before mixing in the Psyllium....it leaches the toxins from the colon better that way.

  • @lilyles Like it looks, lol. Actually, it doesn't have much of a taste.

  • @kaede103084 LOL!

  • how does it teats???
