Fantastic, forget about the mounted/unmounted hand thing- it means nothing. Most of the whole classical form business is BS anyway (I've been a classical player for 13 years)

Curious if you have tabs for this, or if you just played by ear.

Also- it may help your sound quality to drop back the gain on that mic a touch. Fantastic though- I didn't notice any (horrible) bumps.

Thanks! Yeah, I still keep the pinky mounted unless there are fast arpeggios; for example, Hedges "The Happy Couple" (a nice side effect of learning that one is that I was forced to get my 4th finger into shape)...

I figured this one by ear, but have since learned of thekakikingforum com, wherein there are tabs. As for the mic, I agree...but it's just the video camera's onboard one, so I have no control over it. :)

tommy emmanuel, doyle dykes, stephen bennett, chet atkins, jerry reed, all plant their pinky on the body of their guitar, there is no problem with doing it. Keep up the good playing and dont listen to people who dont know what they are talking about

won't actually argue on the right hand comment -- self-taught, and i woefully neglected my 4th finger while learning finger picking. what do you mean by the "classical" part?
