On August 5, 2008 Nancy Pelosi came to the Free Library to promote her book (was it about protecting the Constitution?). But cowardly she did not face us, just watch how her security put her big black SUV in front of us as we chanted IMPEACH BUSH AND CHENEY NOW!

Only older people and/or people who have time on their hands can actually get involved. The US gov has made it so most people cannot even take time off to vote, but will be sent to jail if they skip jury duty. Unfortunately, nothing will ever happen, infact, only a Dem in the WH will be impeached in the future. If there is Dem in the WH next, get ready for Repubs to immediately start impeachment hearings and get ready for the Dem Majority Congress to go along with it. Time for a new Congress.

cpmondello, I have to disagree with the first part of your comment. The impeachment movement is NOT made solely of older people, watch all the videos on Impeachment, you will see! Also, speaking for myself I DO NOT have time "on my hands" work a full time job and volonteer for many causes and I am not the only one! But I do sadly agree with the other part. I wasn't trying to offend, just pointing out an observation from watching videos from all over the net. I send money to pro-impeachment and similair organizations and movements, I email, call, even hand-write my Reps and Senators...I do not think it ever really makes a difference. It is clear to me that, Congress does not listen to the people and we need a new system. I am supporting and joined my local Socialist Party.

Its time to follow in our Founding Father's foot steps!

cpmondello We Are Change crowd are very young, and many are conservative ! You are going to implode if you keep trying to pigeon hole Americans who hate what Bush has done to the Constitution, to American, and to Iraq. Just go with the flow, it is easier to pigeonhole the people who still like Bush, all TWO of them (Bush and Cheney).

The people behind the movement to impeach Bush need to reconsider who they have representing them. While I believe that there is a legal and ethical backing to impeach (at least Cheney), most of the supporters come off looking like straight up conspiracy theory wackos. Hell, even Kucinich doesn't quite have the chops to pull this one off.

What you need to do is find a service academy or Ivy League educated former flag officer that will support the impeachment. Then you might have a chance.

Fantastic! Listen to all those honks for impeachment! They went on for hours. I was there and this video catches our crowd's and the passing drivers' indignation, and our insistence that Congress do what the Constitution demands! Shame on Nancy Pelosi, and I hope Cindy wipes her out at the polls. (I was one of the many military veterans who came out to this rally.)
