Ok so this video is pretty graphic and some words are pretty disgusting and too much information but I thought I share this information to the people who are pre-op or still have not reached a restriction level where foods become difficult to eat. I describe in detail what its like to have a stuck episode. Sorry in advance if I grossed anyone out. B4 I start getting comments on being too tight, I understand where people can assume and think that but I also describe where I can sometimes eat a whole plate of something and continue eating without restriction or getting sick. Still trying to learn how my band works a year out and wanted to share my frustrations and vent with my subscribers. I also wanted to point out the (ugly) experiences we face w/ this weight loss surgery. Everything is not all peaches & creame after surgery. This is what some of you will later face down the line.

  • I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. I don't understand why I can eat/ then not. I feel better seeing your video. I thought there was something wrong with my band. Weirdly, your gross description really helped me! I can be puky for HOURS. It sucks. I do understand.

  • @1969suzie There is nothing wrong with you at all. The band is very inconsistent with food. I dont get it either but after 3 years out, I am very aware of this.

  • im so frustrated, there are weeks where i graze and fall back into old habits and then there are days like today where i cant eat too much! i dont know

  • Chica, I know that the office can get nasty and shisty to your request but set them straight. Be like listen I think something is wrong and I want to check my band. Thats it. I did it, and I got it done. As for pizza, I had only 1 time and I ate it just fine. I think its normal and I do think that our level of restriction switches up on us daily. Only you will know what to do tomorrow on your appt. You missed me there today.

  • Hi Melanie: Thanks so much for this. I haven't had any of these experiences yet. Only 4 weeks out and no fill yet. This will really help when I get this experience myself. You are wonderful to share the good, bad and ugly of banding with us.

  • Thanx so much. I always tell the truth even when its bad. Other people should know what to expect when they have this surgery.
