Tony extremely good musician, but as composer he is not on the level with Steve Vai, even less with Joe Satriani.

i remember one performance where stevie ray vaughan had johny copeland on stage giving him a solo on the song.........I am saying if he is truly the man he should be able to go toe to toe against tony's playing....sounds like insecurity on Vai's part...I'm not saying give tony the spotlight....but if there is another G3 tour Tony should be the third guest because he is definitely just as good if not better than satch and vai
