@DaneFalco this was back when Styles was actually good. Later on he started to believe his own hype, while at the same time cracking up instead of acting annoyed or making his smart ass comments. He was always good with Stevie though.

@lambert581 and you could be right and I'm probably getting ahead of myself by stating what I don't know what to be true to begin with. Documentaries, Shoot Interviews and Wrestling combined brings an element of unknown to the mix. I believe the first two have been used to sell heat that some believe to be factually so.

@Anything4adollar But from what Francine told in the Hardcore Documantery Paul E did lie to the talent she said Paul called her and said he was in California but she could hear his tv running & his mom speaking

@lambert581 not actually true either. Paul E. wasn't willing to sell out ECW and be marketable on a National Level. No network was going to put them on TV unless they made some changes. Paul's other problem was....he did too much by himself, got overly budgeted to try to keep ECW floating and got further and further in debt. There just wasn't enough demand for ECW to warrant keeping it going.

Stevie and Meanie had some great comedy. They would also come out as different tag teams of the past like the Fabulous Ones in their early days

New ECW was absolute shit honestly. Once Vince thought he could change the basic premise of what ECW was...it was doomed to failure. In fact Punk got over by Paul Heyman's booking and Paul was wanting to build that ECW around him and mix older/newer stars. Had he listened to Paul he could have made a ton of stars like Punk and had a true alternative. But all Vince knows is his WWE product and he couldn't go outside the box.
