Something, yet unexplored, which is capable of great achievements (going to other planets), or terrible actions (killing millions of people).
This film was shot a year before "REQUIEM for Humanity", and is dealing with the great side of our nature, while REQUIEM is dealing with our bad one. Enjoy both and give your own answers about the nature of your self..

Ποιά είναι η φύση του ? Ποιά είναι η φύση μας ? Αποτελούμαστε μόνο από σάρκα, αίμα και χημικές αντιδράσεις, ή υπάρχει "κάτι" μέσα μας που ελέγχει όλα αυτά και εκφράζει τον εαυτό "του", τον εαυτό "μας", μέσα από αυτά?
Κάτι, ανεξερεύνητο ακόμη, το οποίο όμως είναι ικανό για θαυμαστά έργα (κατάκτηση άλλων πλανητών), ή για φοβερές πράξεις (δολοφονίες εκατομμυρίων ανθρώπων) . .
Αυτό το φιλμ έγινε ένα χρόνο πριν από το "REQUIEM", κατά τη διάρκεια του ταξιδιού του πρώτου ανθρώπου στο φεγγάρι, και πραγματεύεται την μεγαλόπνοη πλευρά του ανθρώπου, ενώ το "REQUIEM" περιγράφει τη σκοτεινή μας πλευρά. Απολαύστε τα και τα δύο και δόστε τις δικές σας απαντήσεις σχετικά με τη φύση του εαυτού σας..

You may watch 9 short films and videos, amongst them REQUIEM. You will see S8 and 16mm films, videos and digitally made movies, and perhaps you will recall your creative days of film-making and these years of the sixties and seventies, when thousands of aspiring new amateur filmmakers, worldwide, with a small 8mm camera in hands, were shooting their "masterpieces", in a 3 minutes 8mm reel, which they had to wait for 2 weeks to see it processed and ready for projection.
And yet, from some of those short movies, the so called modern artistic cinema, got many fresh ideas about shooting and editing films !
The movies you are going to watch, present the CINE's activities of M.L. who is Construction Engineer, Photographer and Filmmaker. He started as an amateur moviemaker and in a few years his films were shown on TV and at many festivals, internationally. The most interesting of his movies is REQUIEM (1970) for its avant-garde style, which maintains its originality even today, nearly 40 years after it was made !
