The workers compensation system in Canada also denies claims then gets
bonuses for doing so. But they are supposed to be independent aren't they?
Each Province making their own policies and procedures? Not so.

As I have said before, there are associations these workers comp insurance
companies belong to that decide all policy and procedure and they are all
the same.

First there is the Atlantic Association, then the Association of Workers
Compensation Boards of Canada (A.W.C.B.C), then the American Association of
State Compensation Fund (A.A.S.C.I.F), then the International Association of
Industrial Accident Boards & Commissions (I.A.I.A.B.C.) comprising members
of Canadian, U.S., New Zealand, and Australian Workers compensation boards.

So for anyone to say they meet only once a year is a lie. To say each board
is independent is a lie.

In particular all Canadian Boards pay bonuses to their employees for keeping
medical and wage loss costs down. They do this by cutting off the most
deserving and seriously injured workers who have a high degree of
disability, unable to return to their employment, will need lifetime care,
and/or retraining, and/or pensions.

It is very interesting that the Past President of the A.A.S.C.I.F is Ken
Ross, who is also President and CEO of Pinnacol. Add in Vice President
Nancy MacCready-Williams of A.A.S.C.I.F, who is also Chief Executive Officer
Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia. What do we come up with? An
International "gang" of liars, thieves, frauds, and murderers. In other
words, racketeering.

All members following policy and procedure designed to deny claims and
reward the guilty for their fraud.

From the IAIABC's website;

"Founded in 1914, the IAIABC is the world's oldest trade association
dedicated to promoting the advancement of workers' compensation systems
throughout the world through education, research, and resource management.
The theme "Find Information. Connect People." captures the heart of the
association as it continues its mission through the twenty-first century.
(Note =WCB's in Canada started in 1915 in Ontario and in Australia in 1916)

A dynamic group of members encompassing specialties in a variety of workers'
compensation areas are united by annual memberships. The IAIABC represents
workers' compensation professionals, medical providers, insurers, and
corporate agencies with 60 jurisdictions and over 150 associate corporate
members. Many of the most influential and committed leaders of in the field
of workers' compensation are active members of the IAIABC.

Committee work is the heart of the IAIABC. Individuals from a number of
jurisdictions and corporations combine their special on-going administrative
interests to form over 30 committees and subcommittees. The committee
research and work products are invaluable to the IAIABC and workers'
compensation industry. Many are continuous projects that provide ongoing
support for workers' compensation systems, such as self insurance and EDI.

The IAIABC organizes and sponsors four major annual events: the Annual
Convention, the Medical Institute, the Workers' Compensation College, and
the All Committee Conference. Other events include EDI training, Alternative
Dispute Resolution training, and workshops based on membership needs or
requests. (Note = and these Boards only have one meeting a year? HAHA!)

  • Unbelievable! This really makes me wonder if the adjusters in my case are getting bonuses for all the times they denied my medical care. Almost 2 years after my injury, my surgery was finally authorized, but only because I have a very good attorney!

  • @sfs1008 I am glad you have an attorney. Unfortunately because your surgery has been delayed it might mean you will experience further deterioration in your condition. I hope that is not the current situatuon and you will have a successful surgery. As far as bonuses are concerned, a Canadian Province, Alberta, has just been caught giving bonuses to WCB employees for cutting off wage loss benefits, denying medical care, and cutting off retraining.

  • @SuperNewf1 workers comp in Canada and the U.S. was started by J.D. Rockefeller and William Lyon McKenzie King. It was, and still is a EUGENICS PROGRAM started by them so they could torture and murder the permanently disabled injured worker. Check this out on Google; "J.D.Rockefeller- William Lyon McKenzie King -1914- annual report- Rockefeller Foundation.' king was paid over $5,000.00 dollars in 1914 by Rockefeller to sell out Canadians. Note the other eugenics programs Rockefeller funded.

  • Nothing new, SOMEONE (SBWC) should audit ALL the insurance companies, because they are more interested in denying the claims than in helping the employee to recover and go back to his normal productive life. They can drag a claim for years making the recovery complicated or impossible, costing lots of money and affecting a lot of people and the economy.

  • My claims adjudicator in Sask, completely disregarded my physicians recommendations and warnings and lied to me about my medical condition to

cut off my wcb benefit of medical care; I was sent back to work driving a semi-truck

all gooned out on narcoticmedications and when I almost had a head-on collision

due to this, they instantly denied me any help and told me to go back to work...

WCB in Canada is medical legal insurance fraud / racketeering designed to deny anything and everything.
