  • Oh God! I hate Japanese society so much! working in the Tsugaru Shamisen world out here has been sheer hell in terms of the after concert drinking parties. Unfortunately alchohol has never been my thing so it was inevitable that I would be suffering in so many ways. Of course being one of the only foreign Tsugaru Shamisen performers doesn`t help either. Don`t get me wrong I do love Japan (half of me is genetically Japanese) I just hate the limited boxes in everyone`s minds out here!

  • @shamisendemon Preach it, Brother Kevin!

  • The name of the minister of education in this video is not Kuwabara. It's Kawabata. He's the grandson of author and nobel prize winner Yasunari Kawabata.

  • @betweencountries I intentionally modified the name slightly, but thanks for your feedback.
