- Mitsubishi was a large shipping and shipbuilding company that dates back to 1870 but their first car was introduced in 1917 the Mitsubishi Model A, Japans first series-production automobile.
- Before it was Subaru it was (FHI) Fuji Heavy Inudustries & went back to 1915 started out as The Aircraft Research Laboratory, Subaru the automotive division was established in 1953, Subaru's first car was the Subaru 1500-P1 in 1954

most people seem to pik evo over sti. from my owership of my05 sti and been test driven evo 9 and i also own an r34 gtr. realistically, evo and gtr might be a lil quicker and respond to mods better. but its the sti i give the most credit. that car is just so well engineered in terms of giving drivers feedbacks from the true spirit of driving. everything is mechanical on the car. the chassis gets improved n further improved without turning into computers. STi is a true driver's car.
