@swoopnation89 one helpful tip when it comes to losing posture is to go lighter in weight until you can develop those key muscles that cause you to lean forward. It is also a great way to train your muscle memory for that particular exercise. Once you gain muscle memory, going max weight without losing correct form will not be a problem.

PERFECT form.

Love the music at the start. Hey Tuan can you explain why at 3:22 and stuff it mentions both flexion and extension for the hips? This is confusing because even though the joints go through 2 motions for the eccentric/concentric portions, this is basically just a hip extensor exercise, not a hip flexor one. So I don't get why it says hip flexion yet it only says knee extension even though the knees flex during the movement too.

@FPSRushia Read at 1:21 you can see in preparation he writes " grasp barbell from rack OR clean barbell from floor with overhand open grip, slightly wider than shoulder width"
My guess is for people limited to this, since we can only front squat what we can clean, it might be good to do higher reps, and to train the deadlift for that higher clean strength.

Can't wait 2 try that!

Hey Mr. Tuan ! I'm into bodybuilding 6 months by now , my weight is about 154 lbs now and last week i squatted with 200 lbs for 8 great reps ! But front squats - I have tryed them 2 times and noticed that my shoulders are dying in pain only with the empty bar resting at them ! I have read that they will get used to this in time ... Anyway , can you give me any advice to make this process faster , I wanna be able to do regular front squat asap !

Its funny that you uploaded this cause today is the first day I start front squatting seriously lol!

@roughneckasian Alright that makes sense to me especially because you are getting these results.
I just wish there was a better gauge of effectiveness when comparing varieties of exercises. I have this confusion also with all exercises that have varieties (ex. decline bench vs incline bench vs regular bench, zercher squats vs front squat vs reg. squat, etc...)
Does this work better as a supplemental or max effort exercise? One of my weak links in my squat is my upper back causing me to lean forward coming out of the hole. Will this help correct that?

@swoopnation89 only one way to find out. try it and see for yourself. I am only showcasing what has helped me to get my squats where they are today. whether it helps you are not, I do not know.
