  • Why would you call it Mcdonalds when your user name is hardhouse?

  • @g1a1h1 Spent your time at mainstream spots, otherwise you'd be more familiar with the chronology. House was mainstream. The Chicago spinoff of the NY sound gained traction because it was picked up by the press, not because it was original. The true underground evolution remains off the radar. Those in the know headed to NY a full decade before house (described accurately by the owner of the Garage as NY club on a budget). It was a johnny come lately, the McDonald's of the dance movement.

  • @hardcorehouse I was vip at every club in ny and chitown, and psst Ron Hardys sound was the shot heard round the world. Cleary

  • @g1a1h1 Clearly, you weren't there and haven't bothered to compensate with some research. Glad I could help. Don't worry, you and the masses never had the inside scoop on what really happened pssst frankie knuckled the godfather of house was a NYer.

  • @hardcorehouse Just ny tracks you think? You funny guy, plus theirs lots of early tracks from Chi. But the Real stuff sounds nothing like what your talking about.

  • @g1a1h1 You probably just don't have the ear or history to make the connections-the early house music including the first records out on the first widely circulated label were direct copies-no surprise if you'd been in NY and Chi and knew that NY jammies were all over Chi record stores and radio/club mixes.

  • @hardcorehouse This track is fine the way it is. The house music that came from Chicago which put house music on the map didnt sound anything like this.

  • i can never repay you for sharing this music,i ve been searching for this track for the past 20 years

  • THIS was the kind of NYC underground club music that was all over Chicago radio and club mixes back in the day well before house music, from which Chi appropriated the vibe and created "house" based on this.

  • An inspiration to C&C Music Factory's: "Get Dumb!(Move Your Body)" track. Lovin' this classic!
