@FTC3415 I see. We're doing our best with FTC, hopefully if we perform well in FTC there is a chance for us to go into FRC so, that's a huge motivator. I want my team to get as much experience while I'm here to help them. Once I'm done with H.S they're on their own, and then they gotta pass along the knowledge in the following years.
Hopefully we'll meet you guys in the championships if we both make it that far!

You guys are awesome! Congrats on your championship awards You deserved it!

Great video! There are many great design features on your robot and it's pretty cool to get an up close view. Having many variations of a few main auto modes that account for your side and color go a long way in your strategic versatility.
@j0y1d367 I'm sure you'd like our drive train, we have a 12 wheel chassis! Took far too long to get it working, but we're definitely glad we persevered and got it done. All 12 wheels are powered, with the 4 outer wheels raised to hit the bridges.

@CGHSFTC They seem legal :]
We've been competing with them since October.
Are the dip switches + rotary dial home made or are they available online?

@1dael They are pretty standard electronic parts, You can basically get them online, radioshack, local electronics store, or ever rip them out of an old toaster! would love to see your bot soon! Where you from?

@FTC3415 Thanks, when I saw these switches I thought there is something available at Pitsco/HiTechnic I was not aware of. I'm assuming the switches feed one of the ports on the brick the config enumerator and the brick runs the appropriate autonomous routine. Is that close to being correct?
I'm Michal from Team 4337 (DeVry Daemons). We're a team from Chicago competing for the 2nd time this year. We're a small team of about 4 people (others come and go). We'll upload vids of our bot soon :)

@1dael Awesome! yes and no, basically we run them to our protoboard where it reads either a "0" or a "1" and from there we write our autonomi

@FTC3415 Oh, I see what you did there. For some reason I ignored that proto board on HiTechnic's website assuming it wasn't legal for the competition.
My team is currently putting all the finishing touches on our robot and we're getting ready for trials of the whole system in a game-like setting. You guys (and girls) participate in the FRC yet?
