They did a piece like that in the 1994 IROC race at Daytona, they show him in therapy and gives the story of his ponytail.

people like Sterlin and Hut gave the sport personality, and now that theyre not racing every week we're left with all these boring people with maybe one or two exceptions. nascar drivers now are so boring since theyve done nothing since drive a race car since they were 5 years old when their parents paid for them to drive a go kart

Hey Battalion, this isn't really on topic but maybe you have the race, there was a feature some week in '91 on Kyle Petty's recovery from his broken leg, showed some of the physical therapy and what not. Any chance you've got it? If not, thanks anyway.
