this game was a big part of my childhood.. it was so fucking good.. it was like actualy being in the army.. rember when the retreat to morten got ambushed and u were left all by ur self in the woods.. then u got quordenates on the map to a evac point. i rember getting shot at so many times running in the open by russians i couldnt even see.. the game was so intense

If you bought Operation Flashpoint 2, you were simply scammed for roughly 50 bucks. Any future plans for the game were abandoned shortly after release. Players found out the game carried nothing but the name from Operation Flashpoint and was at best a frustrating and irritating gaming experience.

-And the gaming industry still expects us to respect piracy laws, when producing carbage under false advertisement and brand name. I've paid for every game I ever found worth my while.

@eggheadAKAspensley i remember hearing the distant screech of bmp tracks... then it comes over a hill and I lay down in a bush... then i see russian boots in front of me when a patrol passes by :D

Most likely you already noticed by yourself, but Operation Flashpoint 2 was developed by an entirely different team than the first game. Codemasters has the rights on the name, however Bohemia Interactive - the developers of the original Operation Flashpoint - contiue to develop "real" sequels under the name "Armed Assault", which - as far as I heard - remain true to the original OFP.

@eggheadAKAspensley OH MAN This mission near Morten... For me OFP means this mission. I will always remember how i fought in the woods on my own and this orange sky!! U remember? Running across inspecting bodies trying to find at least one LAW shell just to blow up this dangerous BMP that is searching for you) And BMP's machinegun was so awful, so deadly. Hate sound of this machinegun.. If it started to fire at you - you are dead. Epic game. Epic.

@Equilibrium9415 lol the onlycheats i cud get to worc i OFP was savegame and allmission lol i wantd godmode sooo bad to worc soo bad, but i eventually got good at the game in 07 while i was in Iraq....I actualy beat it lol this time, not gotten stucc at the specops mission...

That game is so fuckin´ real I cannot explain. Years ago I started to play it and I love it still. I even love Call of duty or Fall out but that gameplay is awesome. Any time you start its a little bit different than the last time. It´s a Milestone in a history of good games. unlike S T A L K E R ( bugs) or Boilig Point ( more bugs)

@Equilibrium9415 The answer is going through the forests and always look on the map and arround you before you even go further . I never used a cheat in OFP.

Honestly? I never beat that mission with out a godmode cheat. I even moved 2, maybe 3 steps in 2 minutes from bush to bush but i always got shot by those (FUCKING) BMPs or T-80s!
