Everyone has their own way of playing it and that's cool, but i like playing it as close to the way the band plays it as possible. . I realize that its not perfect and i apologize for the sound of the sliding along the strings.

Please or at least a walk through where you could do step by step I have played from tabs and other tutorials, but yours is the closest to the acoustic version they play live as I can find, I want to increase my guitar skills and this is one of my favorite songs to sing, and to play it on guitar on would be amazing.
