This is the hardest fucking strategy game ive ever played. no matter what the enemy sees you and smashes you with artilery before you even get close, all you get is little red circles on a map. I used to play panzers 2 which is fucing epic but it wont run on my new laptop, just trying to install it crashes my system.

@tedediah I dont remember well. Send me a PM with info about the POW camp and the mission and I will tell you how I did it.

@Valkbg How do you beat Tyumen? I can't figure out how to get my troops across the river to free the POWs without alerting the enemy and failing the mission

USA has a 203-mm SPG called M43 and it's among the best SPG's in the game. it has nearly infinite range (you cannot even see the green circle that represents range in most missions, including scenarios) , hits hard and is surprisingly accurate.

That's a cool lil' SPA there lol. pow pow pow run!!!!! repeat. but im sure that it wouldn't last lone on its own for too long if you tried to use it like a battle tank:p.

For me the Soviet was the easiest.Although Im still trying on the Chinese campaign.

m7 priest sucks, the soviet 152mm self propelled gun is a lot better...

I'm playing China right now and the first chapter is easier than most. Infinite infantry, very few enemy artillery units, etc.
But the M7 Priest does little damage and is very short ranged. Too bad.

That was an earlier scenario mission and I haven't got bigger SPG.

yea I had played over with the soviet side before! (at first) And I think the soviet side in the game is much harder than others...expreimental tanks, IS-3 Heavy Tank, Mig-21...:)
