  • saw him in concert a few years back. he's kind of an asshole. great music though.

  • @mikeyc987 No need to be rude or personal. I love Ted. I love what he stands for. I play in a punk band, and we play protest songs. But I don't like this song. No one who's not already sympathetic to the point of view he expresses here is going to respond with anything but sarcasm to this awkward approach. Actually, I think this song works better as a personal expression of rage than an attempt to wake people up anyway.

  • @thejoamiq Obviously you have surgically removed your punk gland. How sad. Punk is the music of protest, when you NEED to hit someone over the head with your point, because they are asleep or out of touch. I wonder if you wish you did more ranting and raving as a 7th grader than you did?

  • Bombing for Peace is like Fucking for Virginity

  • chorus is great, wish he sang in the other parts

  • I miss Dave Lerner...

  • ".,.,.This is your mission: pretend it's television, where the good guys always win,

And they're gonna win again, because you're gonna bomb.

Oh, they can keep talking - let 'em keep talking - they can talk while the bombs fall around them, for all I care..."

  • @theundone1 I would say most sophomoric. I expect more subtlety and insight out of him, not ranting like a sarcastic 7th grader trying to be cool and rebellious about worldly affairs.

  • @thejoamiq I would say most unique.

  • I love Ted, but this is undoubtedly his worst song.
