This is a video describing how to make a vertical playbox for a microKorg synthesizer. It allows you to program the instrument and use all of its functionality
while using an external MIDI controller or sequencer to run your synth.
It can be made with a combination of 2 13" wood boards for the vertical side, 3 20" boards for horizontal. You nail and glue them together, stain it properly with a non-polyurethane solution, and remove the side panels from the instrument. Stick it in the box and you're good to go, as you can see here. Please send me links of your projects. • Well done sir! Im thinking of attempting the same thing with the XL as I have just bought a midi keyboard becuase Im fed up with the tiny keys. Ill post a video when im done!

  • @JoeRKsChannel Can't wait to see it! I actually moved the microKorg back to its original wood end cheeks after I moved my studio, but the XL is a fantastic synth that just has tiny keys! Please let me know about it, Joe!
