  • Does anyone know if Mozart was aware of that he was going to die soon when he composed this? As if he was trying to pay homage to god before he died.

  • @Arnarstyrb He had actually been ill since returning from Prague a few months earlier. He was actually starting to believe he was going to die from this illness, and its written somewhere that he said he tought he was writing his own Requiem. It's hard to be certain what was in his mind at this time anyway.

  • Who is the conductor? Which orchestra, soloist? Like that.
