Today I'm going to talk to you about the best weight lifting supplements you can take to start building muscle faster, and maybe give you a little bit of an edge in the gym.

Now before I go into some of these I just want to preface this by saying that if you plan on just taking supplements and you're not working out and you don't have a specific diet that you're following, and a specific weight gain or muscle building program that you're following, then these tips really aren't going to help you.

Supplements are not going to do all the work for you. So I just want to let you know that there's no supplement out there that you can take that's just magically going to help you gain weight and build muscle mass without diet and exercise.

So with that said, some of the good supplements that you can take that will give you an edge, assuming your diet and weight training are in order, are:

Creatine - When you start taking creatine you're going to put on 5 pounds pretty quickly. But most of it is going to be water weight. But creatine is actually going to help you lift more weight in the gym, and help you pump out more reps.

Basically that translates into more strength, more stamina, more weight lifted, and you can do more overall work in the gym to put it simply. So creatine is awesome, it works and it's a legitimate supplement.

Glutamine - Glutamine is going to support your immune system and it has also been shown to increase growth hormone. If you find yourself getting sick a lot (because you're working out a lot, and that does take it's toll on your body and some guys find that they get sick a lot when they hit the gym pretty hard) glutamine can help with that, and also like I said, it's been shown to increase growth hormone levels and help prevent muscle catabolism.

  • I have been having problems gaining weight can you please help me out

    First of all I weigh 101 pounds at the age of 15 but I have football practice everyday which we do a lot of conditioning then we have to go to the weight room and do bench press and deadlifts everyday. I do pull ups and a lot of push ups I have no supplements right now but will soon and can you give tips on how much to eat because I eat like a horse everyday and I'm not seeing any gain once I gain weight I lose it the next da

  • what is the difference between working all muscle groups in one day, 3 days a week and working separate muscle groups on separate days, each group 2 days a week. also which on is better and give the best results and why? a response would be great and i cant wait to get the Weight Gain Blueprint

  • @cstein03 I find it's better to do a 3-day split. This allows your muscles to rest and grow for an entire week before hitting them again. If you're a skinny guy or hardgainer this is important. Although guys have gotten results by doing full-body workouts as well. I just prefer 3-day splits.

    Chains are good, the threads on collar striped out so the locking pin no longer works. But it's not a big deal most of the member don't secure the collars or they just clips to secure it. Get used 5-10 times a day, show some rust but it may clean off. Be aware they are loud when in use. ...

  • To my understaning ive heard creatine is bad for you because I heard it can destroy your kidneys. Creatine takes alot of water so if you are drinking enough water for it is it still bad for you?
