Henry Zuniga, accompanied by Cliff Compton, sings the Jimmy Martin song "Mary Ann" during a memorial tribute to our friends Wayne Nolan (1939-2009), Lloyd Butler (1929-2009), and Phil Anacleto (1933-2010). "Mary Ann" was Wayne's signature song.

Recorded April 16, 2010 at the California Bluegrass Association's spring campout at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock, CA.

I love the music of Jimmie Rodgers. Called "The Father Of Country Music", "The Singing Brakeman" and "The Mississippi Blue Yodeler", the songs he wrote and decided to cover have since been covered by hundreds of country singers from Hank Williams to my neighbor. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your comment, but the song in this video was written by Jimmy Martin, not Jimmie Rodgers. I'm wondering if your comment was intended for the video of Herman Watson singing Rodgers' Blue Yodel #4, which I posted about 2 hours before I put up this video.
