For a young girl living a "hard knock life" in a children's orphanage, things may seem pretty bad -- especially at Christmas. But feisty Annie (Alicia Morton) carries a song in her heart and hope in her locket -- the only thing she has from her parents. One day, fed up with the dastardly Miss Hannigan (Kathy Bates), Annie escapes the run-down orphanage determined to find her mom and dad. Her adventure takes her from the cold, mean streets of New York to the warm, comforting arms of bighearted billionaire Oliver Warbucks (Victor Garber) -- with plenty of mischief in between!

  • @webkinzrockfans992 exactly what i was thinking

  • the way his shakeing u think he was going to ask grace to marry him

  • @TakeAChance1408 Same here! :D

  • omg i totally saw this version as a kid! never realized Alan Cumming was in it! crazy!

  • there are def worse remakes out there.nothin beats the 1982 version, carol burnett is amazing as ms hannigan. kathy bates is a great actor but carol rules the live theater. this version has a great cast but im not convinced.....doesnt seem natural like the 1982 version. regardless, love the annie story!

  • alan cumming reminds me of tim curry in this role....which makes sense lol

  • KRISTIN CHENOWETH <3

  • this is my fave number in both this version and the 1982 version(easy street). and kathy bates rlly shines in this whole movie!!

  • I have to admit, I think Kristin is the only reason I'm watching this. Personally, I perfered the 1982 version. I look for choreography and dance numbers in musicals, and this was a disappointment compared to 1982. Mind you, the cast in 1982 were more "dance" people then this cast anyway - I mean, look at Audra (Grace) and compare her to Ann, while both ladies sing, dance and act, Audra is a singer, Ann is a dancer - no disrespect or offence intended to anyone!!!
