"Pumpin' Iron Sweatin' Steel" 1988 Clarion, PA. Recorded at The Red Stallion (aka The Roost). I had the pleasure of directing this live to tape performance as a student for Clarion University's TV station. Joe is a great song writer/musician and still one of my favorites. Learn more about this great American rocker at JoeGrushecky.ca.
Joe is definitely the Keith Richards of Pittsburgh, and Chuck Berry knows it, too.

Gotta say that most of JG & the H's stuff is pretty unremarkable. However, the 8min 35sec version of this on Labour of Love Live is probably the greatest piece of balls to the wall boogie I've ever heard.....
Great post though, thanks.

Ah memories, rolling in the Rambler, rocking the 8 track, drinking Iron bought with an illegal ID. The sound track to my youth!

I went to School with his son John Grushecky, and he was kind of a douche. He really couldn't sing, play an instrument, or sing so I guess whatever talent his dad had passed over him. Oh good ol' Keystone Oaks HS. Hey!! I went to Clarion as well, too bad it was nearly 20 years later than you haha, did you know that almost all the dorms are gone? all that's left of the original are becht and ballentine. enjoyed the video even though I'm not much of a Joe Grushecky fan
